The Burning Bush Didn’t Need Any Fuel!

February 27, 2014

In Exodus 3 2-3:  Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

This scripture gives me a lot of hope! Because if you notice, the bush was set aflame but was not consumed. The leaves stayed in tact, there was no smoke coming from the plant, and when it was all said and done, there was no damage done at all. No ash, no smoke, no nothing. The fire was lit without any fuel! This tells me that God can do ANYTHING with nothing. In order for us to burn something, we need to use fuel. God didn’t.

This is a simple message… to remind us when we are at a place in our lives where it seems there is no way out,  no resources, no ability, let God kick in with his “no fuel” ability in your life. Ask Him for His resource. There is an abundance from the Kingdom of God. It never runs out! If we take a moment to “acknowledge” Him in our lives in that specific area, and pray HOPEFULLY and in FAITH about something, we may see an answer. The Lord may give us an idea we never thought of. We may come across something that we’ve been looking for to resolve our issue. We need to keep our eyes open! To look for what God is doing, not what we are capable of, or what we see with our eyes. To trust God is to live by faith, theunseen! Scriptures say that the unseen world is more real the what we see. Let’s start seeing things this way today and watch the natural turn to super-natural.
